I used to do this road a lot when I had horses to pick-up From near Oban, it is the simplest road to follow (A85) for about 130miles. Lots of straights and bends in a very beautiful scenery. There's also the A82 that comes from Glasgow joining it at the most unpronounceable town (mmh 3.5 houses a railway station and a Post Office ) in Scotland (Crianlarich) to split past Tyndrum towards Fort William, you go through Glen Coe which is recommended to hit on a sunny day. Breathtaking! Oban's nicer than Fort william though. I remember taking a break on the straight towards Oban past Tyndrum and this police car storming down at what I think was near 130-40mph! Impressive..., apprently here they don't chase you with cars or bikes, it's the chopper, although I never seen one in the many times I was there, I only heard of it

That is a nice route - haven't done it on the bike yet, but maybe this summer!

A scots meet would be good there seems to be a lot of ZZR's up here but i rarely see another one.
Just noticed yard dogs post we live in the same town but i havent seen him going about.
