Ah..........Ellsmere port, such a lovely place (not) I remember spending many a night there on the old mans wee ship.

Usually after battling my way through the refinery gates after trying to reason with security guards (jokes!!) when they accused me of being a lady of the night (after the ships Captain FORGOT to leave my security pass at the gates) and refusing to let me through.................such fond memories

If you want a nice, even more twisty and fun road....

Try the run down the A5 from North Wales, into Newtown and through the mountains to Builth Wells. Particularly Newtown to Builth. I don't know the road number off the top of my head, but its basically a very long run of bends and corners with very little straight bits.

Fantastic fun, but very hard on the tyres. I have frightening pics to prove :)

When compared to my daily route (Corwen>Llandegla>liverpool) this is a fun road.

Sorry for the butt in but hey, memories eh!!

Small world it is, born n bread Liverpool, scottie road, escaped at 17 to army for 18 years, then back for punishment, moved to Wallasey for 15 years, now been up here in Helmsdale - google it on a map - for 2 years.

Miss the run up to the ponderosa and the run out to bala and dollgeflu and back up towards caernafon.

When is was at school, we used to call, gateacre, Gate Acre and woolton Wool Town.

If any of yous are up this way, give me a shout for a run out.
